CBC-UV participó en el Foro Ocupa't 2022 Vila-real

Invited by the City Council of Vila-real, last Thursday, October 20, the Conversational Business Chair of the Universidad de Valencia (CBC-UV) participated in the IV edition of the Ocupa’t Forum. The event took place at the Centre de Congressos Fires i Trobades and which counted with the participation of more than two thousand people. There we had an information stand.

The Congress Center was divided into three sectors. The first one was for talks and lectures by experts on how to optimize the recruitment process. The second one was for job interviews with companies and recruitment agencies. And lastly, the third one was an area reserved for information stands of companies, public entities, educational centers, and non-governmental institutions.

As members of the third sector, the CBC had the opportunity to show the Chair’s work through its project “Vila-real3000”, which mission is to digitally transform the city of Vila-real. The team also presented the work of Conversational Citizen (CC), which seeks to convert silent citizens into conversational ones.

Also, during the event the Chair had a digital assistant that updated on the news. It was the “Pregonero de Vila-real”, a botletter that once you are subscribed sends news via WhatsApp, as those announced on the forum, as part of the Vila-real3000 Project.

The people of Vila-real also had access to the online free course “WhatsApp Cloud API Certification”. The people who were interested in taking the course could access with a QR code. You can access the course here.

We also launched a conversational business job board with job offers related to computational linguistics, chatbot development, conversational AI product owner, chatbot engineering, internships, volunteering, among others.

We also launched the Project Bank, which will allow us to co-create conversational projects with high impact in society with the citizens. The initiative was presented in the forum and the assistants were invited to propose projects that then will be analyzed by the Technical Committee of Conversational Citizen. We also invited them to participate in the election of the proposals from a public list. The bank is available at: https://conversationalcitizen.com/es/banco-de-proyectos/

Finally, we presented the One Stop Shop, a communication tool through which those interested in Vila-real3000 can send a ticket with their queries, questions, proposals or any necessary action directly to the Chair’s team: https://oss.conversationalcitizen.com/portal/es/newticket

The day ended in a satisfactory way, we proud of the work done, the interest of the assistants in conversational topics and the number of subscribers to the free online course. More than 60 people subscribed to the botletter, an essential tool keep up to date for the next activities to be carried out in the framework of the Vila-real3000 project.
